What We Repair on Site

These are the most common call-outs, and the vast majority of them are repaired the same visit.
Heating and control faults: burnt-out heating elements, seized NTC temperature sensors, failed control boards, damaged wiring harnesses, and cycles that abort with an error code. We read the code off the machine, cross-reference it against the service manual, and replace only the component that is actually at fault — not the entire assembly it sits on.
Drum and mechanical faults: worn drum bearings and shaft seals (the slow-building grinding noise on spin), snapped drive belts, loose counterweights, broken shock absorbers and suspension springs, and motor brushes at end of life. Bearing replacement is the most involved job we do on site, but for most tub designs it is still economical compared to buying a new appliance.
New Machine Installation & Re-Connection
If the machine is past economical repair we will tell you plainly — and, if you wish, install the replacement the same day. A proper installation is more than plugging it in: we fit a leak-protected inlet hose with shut-off aquastop where appropriate, secure the drain into a trapped standpipe or sink elbow at the correct height, level the feet on a stable floor so the drum stays balanced at 1400 RPM, remove the transport bolts, and run a full test cycle with water before we leave.
We also handle re-connection jobs after a move, a kitchen renovation, or a bathroom refurbishment — including cases where the existing hoses, filter, or standpipe have been disturbed by other trades. This is a small job but an easy one to get wrong: an unsecured drain hose or an over-tightened inlet coupling is a classic cause of flooring damage on the first spin cycle.
