60-minute response in Tallinn

A refrigerator is not like most other appliances in the kitchen – it runs twenty-four hours a day, for fifteen years or more, pumping heat out of an insulated box through a sealed refrigerant circuit. A compressor pressurises the refrigerant, a condenser on the back dumps that heat to the room, a capillary tube drops the pressure, and an evaporator inside the cabinet absorbs heat from the food compartment. Sitting around all of that is a layer of electronics – a thermostat or NTC sensor, a defrost timer or board, fan motors, and on modern appliances a main control board and often an inverter. A fault anywhere in that chain can look the same from the outside: the fridge is warm, the freezer over-ices, or the compressor runs non-stop.

Torudeabi 24 repairs refrigerators, freezers, and combined fridge-freezers on site across Tallinn and Harju County – for both freestanding and fully integrated (built-in) appliances, including Side-by-Side, French Door, and No Frost models. Our technicians arrive in a stocked service van, run a full diagnostic, and quote a fixed price before any parts are changed. We service Bosch, Siemens, Electrolux, AEG, Liebherr, Whirlpool, Indesit, Beko, Samsung, LG, Miele, Gorenje, Candy, Hotpoint, and other common brands sold in Estonia. We only fit original or OEM-equivalent spare parts so the warranty on the repair is meaningful and the appliance behaves the way the manufacturer designed it to.

What We Repair on Site

Sealed-system faults: compressors that run constantly but do not cool, compressors that click on and off without starting, blocked capillary tubes, refrigerant leaks in the evaporator or condenser, and failed start relays and overload protectors. For most brands the sealed-system work is done on site with recovery, leak repair, re-charge, and a hold-pressure test before we leave.

Electronic and control faults: failed thermostats and NTC temperature sensors, faulty defrost heaters and defrost timers, burnt main control boards, failed inverter modules on linear and inverter-compressor models, damaged wiring harnesses, and cycles that flag an error code on the display. We read the code off the appliance, cross-reference it against the service manual, and replace only the component that is actually at fault – not the entire assembly it sits on.

Mechanical and cabinet faults: worn door seals that no longer hold temperature, sagging or broken door hinges, noisy or seized evaporator and condenser fan motors, blocked defrost drains that cause water to pool under the crisper, cracked drawer rails and shelf supports, and interior LED lighting failures. These are the most common everyday calls and almost all of them are a same-visit fix.

New Appliance Installation & Re-Connection

If the appliance is past economical repair we will tell you plainly – and, if you wish, install the replacement the same day. A proper installation is more than sliding the unit into place: we let the refrigerant settle before powering on, level the feet so the door seats squarely and self-closes, leave the correct ventilation gap behind and above the unit, set initial temperatures, and verify the compartments pull down to target temperature before we leave. For built-in models we also fit the decorative door panel, adjust the hinges and door-close springs, and check that the cabinet opening has the airflow path the manufacturer requires.

We also handle re-connection jobs after a move, a kitchen renovation, or a counter replacement – including cases where the existing door panel, hinges, or plinth have been disturbed by other trades. This is a small job but an easy one to get wrong: a sagging built-in door, blocked ventilation behind a Side-by-Side, or a unit switched on too soon after being laid down is a classic cause of an avoidable service call a week later.

For apartment associations and landlords we offer service contracts covering multiple appliances across a building, with priority response, transparent part pricing, and a single invoice per visit. This is usually cheaper than handling each call as a one-off and means tenants get a same-day fix rather than waiting for the next available slot.
