Professional flooring works in Tallinn and Harju County – parquet, laminate, vinyl, engineered wood, cork, and carpet installation, along with full subfloor preparation, self-levelling screeds, moisture barriers, sanding, lacquering, and skirting board fitting for apartments, houses, offices, and commercial spaces.
A floor lives under every footstep in the building – if the subfloor is uneven, the moisture barrier is missing, or the expansion gap is wrong, the surface will squeak, gap, or lift within a single heating season. Torudeabi 24 floor fitters start every job with a moisture meter on the screed, a 2-metre straightedge check across the room, and a plan for self-levelling compound or plywood overlay where the deviation exceeds 2 mm per metre.
We install solid and engineered parquet (glue-down or floating click), laminate and SPC/LVT vinyl, cork, linoleum, and carpet in rolls or tiles, matched to the subfloor and room use – bedroom, kitchen, bathroom-adjacent hallway, office, or high-traffic commercial floor. For existing wood floors we also sand, fill, and re-finish with Bona or Osmo systems, restoring tired parquet to a near-new surface without demolition.
Every job ends with mitred skirting boards, matched door thresholds, and a post-clean inspection before handover. Before any work starts we carry out a free on-site inspection, measure moisture, lock in material quantities with 5% cut wastage, and issue a fixed-price quote with a firm delivery date – we take on full packages as well as labour-only work (fitting only, when the client buys the material themselves).
What our flooring works include
Parquet and wood floor installation: we fit solid and engineered parquet both glue-down (the most stable and quietest option; requires a flat, dry subfloor with measured moisture below 2 CM%) and as floating click-lock over a suitable polystyrene or cork underlay (15 dB+ impact-sound reduction). We keep an 8–12 mm expansion gap at every wall, orient the plank direction to the longer wall and natural light, and after installation the parquet can be sanded and finished in a single coat of matt or silk lacquer, or tinted oil.
Laminate and vinyl (SPC, LVT) installation: we fit AC4–AC5 class laminate and rigid-core SPC vinyl for daily-use homes and offices – in damp zones (bathroom-adjacent hallways, kitchens) we install waterproof SPC with appropriate moisture barrier and perimeter silicone seal. A finished SPC floor handles underfloor-heating cycles without joint separation and is immediately loadable – you can move furniture in the same day.
Self-levelling compound and subfloor preparation: we grind away old adhesive residue, prime, and pour self-levelling compound in layers 3–30 mm thick, blending room-to-room transitions so the whole apartment is on one level. Where self-levelling is not enough, we fit 12–18 mm plywood overlay on timber subfloors or on concrete with a re-levelled base. We measure moisture and fit a vapour barrier where needed (especially over underfloor heating).
Cork, linoleum, and carpet installation: we fit acoustic cork (excellent impact-sound absorption, a soft underfoot feel), natural linoleum (Forbo Marmoleum, 20-year service life), and carpet in rolls (bedrooms, kitchen-side hallways) or as carpet tiles (modular office zones). Under every sheet finish we fit the correct underlay, silicone-seal the perimeter, and finish with matched skirting boards.
Sanding, repair, and transitions
Parquet sanding and finishing: we sand old parquet in three passes (40-grit coarse, 80-grit intermediate, 120-grit fine), fill every crack and plank joint with parquet filler, and coat either with Bona Traffic HD lacquer (the highest-wear water-based finish) or Osmo Hardwax oil (natural, matt, repairable finish). The whole process runs on dust-extraction sanders – furniture stays in the apartment and the flat remains habitable through the refinish.
Single-plank replacement and repair: we swap individual worn or water-damaged parquet planks so the replacement blends into the pattern – we match grain direction, tone, and width to the existing floor. When individual laminate joints open up, we replace only the problem plank (not the whole floor), fix plank cracks, and pull a squeaky floor back into compression with fixing screws.
Thresholds and transitions: we install skirting boards (standard 60–120 mm MDF, wood, or aluminium) with mitred corners, finished in the floor tone or white to avoid a wall-floor clash, and we fit door thresholds (wood, aluminium, or stainless) between different floor finishes flush, without a step.
