Electric Stove Repair
On-site electric stove, cooktop, and oven repair in Tallinn and Harju County – diagnostics, heating element and electronic fault repair, and original spare parts for all major brands.
An electric stove is one of the most power-hungry appliances in any home – a freestanding range can pull 7–11 kW across its heating elements, and a modern induction hob switches that current on and off several thousand times a second through a bank of power electronics. Sitting underneath all of that are temperature-critical safety devices: thermostats, thermal fuses, over-temperature cut-outs, door-latch interlocks on the oven, and a main control board that ties everything together. A fault in any of those components can look the same from the outside – a burner that does not heat, a hob that flashes an error code, or an oven that trips the house breaker as soon as it is switched on.
Torudeabi 24 repairs electric cookers, ceramic and induction cooktops, built-in ovens, and freestanding ranges on site across Tallinn and Harju County – for both standalone and fully integrated (built-in) appliances. Our technicians arrive in a stocked service van, isolate the appliance safely at the distribution board, run a full diagnostic, and quote a fixed price before any parts are changed. We service Bosch, Siemens, Electrolux, AEG, Miele, Whirlpool, Indesit, Beko, Samsung, LG, Gorenje, Hansa, Hotpoint, and the other brands common in Estonian kitchens. We only fit original or OEM-equivalent spare parts, so the warranty on the repair is meaningful and the appliance behaves the way the manufacturer designed it to.
What We Repair on Site
Heating-circuit faults: failed oven heating elements (top, bottom, and grill), dead cast-iron or radiant hotplates, open-circuit induction coils, broken element terminals, and damaged connection blocks. Most element replacements are a same-visit job once the appliance is safely isolated and the panel is off.
Electronic and control faults: unresponsive touch control boards, failed temperature thermostats and NTC sensors, burnt main control modules, faulty induction generator and IGBT power boards, damaged wiring harnesses, and ovens that display an error code on the screen. We read the code off the appliance, cross-reference it against the service manual, and replace only the component that is actually at fault – not the entire assembly it sits on.
Mechanical, safety, and cabinet faults: worn door seals and hinges on ovens, cracked ceramic glass cooktops, sagging oven doors, broken door-latch interlocks and self-clean locks, failed cooling-fan motors, defective thermal fuses and over-temperature cut-outs, and oven lamps that no longer work. Cracked ceramic glass is replaced rather than repaired – we quote it as a fixed part-plus-labour price before the work starts.
New Appliance Installation & Re-Connection
If the appliance is past economical repair we will tell you plainly – and, if you wish, install the replacement the same day. A proper installation is more than sliding the unit into place: we check that the appliance is on its own dedicated circuit with the correct breaker size and cable cross-section, wire the unit to the terminal block as a single-phase (230 V) or three-phase (400 V) connection depending on the model, level-mount the cooktop and range so heat distribution across pans is even, fit the decorative trim strips on built-in ovens, and run a full function test on every heating zone before we leave.
We also handle re-connection jobs after a move, a kitchen renovation, or a countertop replacement – including cases where the existing terminal block, trim, or cabinet cut-out have been disturbed by other trades. This is a small job but an easy one to get wrong: an incorrect phase configuration, a missing earth bond, or a hob dropped into a cut-out without the correct sealing tape is a classic cause of an avoidable service call a week later.
For apartment associations and landlords we offer service contracts covering multiple appliances across a building, with priority response, transparent part pricing, and a single invoice per visit. This is usually cheaper than handling each call as a one-off and means tenants get a same-day fix rather than waiting for the next available slot.
